Sarkar is in trouble


AR Murugadoss directorial and Thalapathy Vijay starrer film ‘Sarkar’ is scheduled to release on November 6th on the eve of Diwali. Just two weeks before its release, Sarkar is facing a big problem. Assistant director Varun Rajendran files a case in high court against Murugadoss. He alleged that Muragadoss copied his story and made this film.

The latest news about the issue is South Indian Film Writers Association has expressed its opinion that Sarkar story is very similar to the script of Varun Rajendran’s ‘Sengol’. Varun Rajendran had registered the script with the Writer's Union in 2007. On October 30 in Madras High Court is hearing on this case.

Well, this may hurt Vijay fans but this is not first time Murugadoss is accused of story copying. The director faced similar problems during the release of Katthi. At that time, Aramm fame director Gopi Nainar had acclaimed that Murugadoss copied his story.

Sarkar is produced by famous production house Sun Pictures. Along with Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Keethy Suresh, Radha Ravi and Pala Karupaiah playing key roles in the movie.

Fans are very much excited about this film because Vijay and Murugadoss combo previous two movies Thuppaki and Katthi are blockbusters. Fans are expecting third consecutive hit in their combination.

It is not yet clear that whether film would release according to its schedule or court will give stay order. Let’s see what happens.
